​Announcement:

1) Dr. TAN Eng Khim has been awarded the Advanced Practitioner Status in Small Animal Practice by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS, U.K.) since June 2015.

2) Dr TAN Eng Khim serves as a RCVS Panel of Assessors for Advanced Practitioners since 2019. In this role, he contributes to maintaining high standards of professional competence within the veterinary profession.

3) Dr TAN Eng Khim recently joined the RCVS Academy Panel in 2022. His involvement underscores his commitment to education and advancing veterinary practice standards.

​​The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons publishes a list of all vets who have achieved Advanced Practitioner status. They state,

"The list provides a clear indication to the profession and the public of those veterinary surgeons who have accredited at postgraduate certificate level (Masters level 7), and who have not only demonstrated knowledge and experience in a particular area of veterinary practice beyond their initial primary veterinary degree, but who have also confirmed that they continue to be up to date in their field over and above our minimum requirements for continuing professional development (CPD)."

At VET@RV, we are family....

Our clinic dog-- We have just recently adopted a 4 month old Saluki puppy; and, we have named him 'Lucas'.

Phoenix (the Sphynx), a new member has just joined the team. He is now a close associate of Lloyd (the BSH) in the clinic.....

Lloyd is nicknamed-- ' the Lap Cat ''; he enjoys sitting and sleeping on your lap (for as long as he wants.....)

Cushion is small but we can all fit in together comfortably....

Llyod: Phoenix you have enough space to make yourself comfortable?

Surface area is small....hmm... let's try to maximize whatever space there is to make it work for us.

Phoenix: Lloyd, i'm cool. what about you? chilling off at your end?

Llyod: Hang on, let's pose for the photo shot first. say cheese......Phoenix are u paying attention?

Llyod: Oopps, i just missed my pose. let's do it again.....cheesssssse

nap time....well this is way we keep each other warm and cosy.....not too bad an idea...

everyone one of us got our gift exchange. Dr Do is definitely pleased with the gift he has received for this Christmas

Llyod: Hmmm.....what would i have as my christmas gift this year?

Dr Do and Lucas is taking a breather from the warm and humid afternoon at the west coast park. Lucas is way too engross with his fellow friends running freely around the enclosed park.....

Lucas is wondering he should be heading towards the beach front. To swim or not to swim? that is the question.....

Lucas : so which group should i be joining in for the run?

Lucas : get me a close up shot for my beach pose....how does that look? Good?

Lucas : hmmmm....the heat is getting up on me. am i getting tan? I need to find myself a shade to rest and drink.....

Lucas has done us proud by winning the 4th best baby puppy in the SKC dog show held on 20 Mar 2011....

Llyod: Looks like there is not much space for Phoenix to pose for his christmas photo shot.... Béjue the Shih Tzu is just taking up too much space.
